Sheila's Bakery came through in a pinch with a same-day request for a carrot-cake birthday cake and it was amazing! Just like my Mom used to make! Everyone at the party raved about it. She even took the time to cut it perfectly into 16 pieces. Will definitely return!
I'm so glad this bakery opened a location closer to me! Their tres leches cake is so delicious and worth stopping in for any day. Plus they have a variety of other baked goods, groceries, snacks, and fresh food items, like walking tacos. They also carry some full size cakes. I look forward to returning for more tres leches cake and other goodies.
I really like the taqueria in this place. I'm especially fond of the carnitas tacos. I'm not a huge fan of sweet bread but will indulge in the pastries with fillings.
Cute neighborhood bodega. Not a huge selection, but you can get many Mexican American basics, including spices. They also have a restaurant menu. The most interesting to me was their Tes Leches cake -- wow! I can't wait to try it. It looks very special. The folks at the counter are friendly, and add a welcoming local vibe.
This place is so awesome. My husband buys me their pastries and they are so delicious. You can tell when someone knows how to make beautiful pastry. It is spot on!! Try them out, they have many different things to entice your taste buds.
